Cycle around the slopes of Mt. Kenya Mt. Kenya is located in central Kenya 156km north of Nairobi. The name Kenya is named after Mt Kenya (Kirinyaga) meaning the mountain of whiteness as referred to by the indigenous people because of the capped peak. The name arose out of inability of the British to pronounce Kirinyaga correctly. Mt Kenya is 5199m above the sea level. |
